43 A Horror story

 

 -The fate of 43 missing Mexican students remains a mystery days after they vanished amida police shooting: A survivor saw dozens bundled into patrol cars but authorities say theymay be hiding. The teachers-in-training disappeared after a weekend of violence that leftsix people dead and 25 wounded in Iguala, a town surrounded by thick forests in the crime-plagued southern state of Guerrero.


- Authorities unearthed on Saturday unmarked graves containing a number of bodies on theoutskirts of a southern Mexico town where 43 students disappeared after a deadly policeshooting last week. The chief prosecutor for the violence-plagued state of Guerrero, said itwas too early to say how many bodies were buried in the pits outside Iguala, 200 kilometers(125 miles) south of Mexico City.

 

-Mexican federal forces disarmed the southern city's entire police corps and took oversecurity Monday after officers were accused of colluding with a gang in violence that left 43students missing.

 


-Thousands of people protested around the country amid fears the students were executedby a gang working with crooked police.

 

-Some of the bodies found in mass graves in southern Mexico do not correspond to any ofthe 43 students who went missing after an attack by gang-linked police, officials reported.

"This  project is meant to serve as an homage to the 43 students who disapeared. Through photographing their families, their homes, their common aspirations and dreams in a personal and intimate way, my attempt is to restore the identity of those who have been forgotten."
